About Us

Each small business is unique in its team, customers, vendors, industry, location, and regulations making a formulaic approach impractical. As a result, we impose few restrictions on the types of businesses we invest in and the structure of our investments. Within reason, we are agile and flexible and can go wherever the opportunity takes us.

Our primary focus is on growth partnerships where existing shareholders/management seek a capital partner and potentially partial liquidity, but plan to stay actively involved and aim to grow the business. In specific circumstances we will also consider legacy transitions/buyouts where existing shareholders are seeking a structured exit or transition.

Whilst we are predominantly focussed on equity investments, we invest across the capital spectrum and are able to structure flexible debt solutions provided the opportunity meets our investment criteria.

While our preference is to acquire controlling stakes, we will consider minority recapitalisations and significant minority investments on a case-by-case basis.

We seek to maintain an active level of involvement within our investees post investment. We recognise that founders/operators know their business best – we are there to listen, learn, and then add value typically in areas where our skillset, experience, and networks are complementary to management.
